Bruises fade but the pain lasts forever
The ethnic community in Slough needs practical help and guidance that is sensitive to their culture. Ethnic women in particular need the confidence to fully participate in society and and learn empowerment so they may make choices about their lives. IN JANUARY WE ARE STARTING EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOPS AND KEEP FIT CLASSES FOR WOMEN TO GIVE THEM CONFIDENCE PLEASE HELP US FUND THE CLASSES, THE ONLY ESCAPE THESE WOMEN HAVE IS TO GROW IN CONFIDENCE AND SELF ESTEEM
More women will be brought out of seclusion, in particular Muslim women who suffer most from isolation in the community. Our services give them confidence to fully participate in the community and live productive and independent lives. Youngsters involved in drug/alcohol abuse can gain the confidence to change negative life patterns into positive moves for their future.
