Supporting young people into work
Yes it happens to men too

JOB CLUB 8 IS FORGING AHEAD AND YOUNGSTERS ARE GOING INTO WORK EXPERIENCE.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU Assistance, advice and counselling to Muslim/non-Muslim communities and to statutory authorities. We use leaflets/workshops for youth and families to address women's issues (such as domestic violence/forced marriage. We also help young people with drug addiction Our latest project is a Job Club helping young people into work. Future projects will include a permanent Employment Support Unit, Help for young men facing domestic violence or forced marriage.
Why the community needs this charity

We do not confine our activity or help to a small section of the community, our services are free to everyone regardless of race, culture or religion, different people but in many cases the same problems affect all communities. However we have vast experience in dealing with any problems specific to ethnic groups. Our experience is available to all, we do not just talk about community cohesion we practice it.So whatever your background and whatever the problem we will do our best to help.

Results and outcomes

More women will be brought out of seclusion, in particular Muslim women who suffer most from isolation in the community. Youngsters involved in drug/alcohol abuse can gain the confidence to change negative life patterns into positive moves for their future. Our Employment Support Unit offers youngsters the opportunity to have mentoring to provide them with confidence and the right attitude in the job market, it is difficult to find a job without these 2 factors in place.
