Yoko Ono's Add Colour Project
BALTIC has fast become an important example of successful culture-led regeneration on an international scale. BALTIC has played a pivotal role in boosting local tourism, promoting local pride and shaping local identity, contributing to the vibrancy of NewcastleGateshead. With nearly 1,000 people every day coming through the doors, there is a clear appetite for cutting edge, contemporary visual arts in the North. We need your help to satisfy this hunger.
We engage more than 200,000 people every year in our learning programmes, on and offsite, inspiring audiences across the globe. Our learning programmes help children, parents and grandparents alike to find personal meaning and connection with the artworks. Whether it's rolling up your sleeves in an artist led workshop or listening to an artist talk about their work, we help audiences make sense of what they see; to explore different lenses on the world.
