The centre provides English classes and other activities to help refugees integrate into UK society.

To provde a safe haven for refugees from the local and surrounding areas, once a week. The centre has English classes with Adult Education tutors and volunteer teachers.
Why the community needs this charity

The Centre provides help for refugees to integrate into society. Activities include English classes, a children's crèche, support for families in need, a dinner once a week, a drop-in once a month, an outing to the seaside and an annual party.

Results and outcomes

We have successfully helped many refugees to move on to further education, to find suitable employment and obtain appropriate housing, furniture and appliances. We have also helped some refugees with legal advice and support.
