Burniston & Cloughton Bowling Club is a friendly sociable club playing both social and league bowls.
Burniston & Cloughton Bowls Club was founded in 1981 and has on average between 50-60 members playing both social and league bowling. The club has a qualified instructor and bowling equipment and offers free coaching where required. Partially sighted & handicapped players are welcome. The outdoor bowling season opens in April with free come-and-try sessions and closes at the end of September. The club is a valuable asset for the local community as bowls can be enjoyed by all age groups.
Why the community needs usThe club is a valuable asset to the local community providing both social and outdoor activity for all age groups. The whole complex is maintained to a very high standard. Surrounded by hedges and pleasantly screened from the main road it offers a tranquil place for locals to come, watch and play .. as many do.
