Mansfield Support Centre

From the warm welcome as soon as you walk in, then to be offered a drink of tea/coffee or a soft drink and then be able to discuss the issues and a plan implemented to address these, to the meals that can be purchased. All this makes this a very inviting place and somewhere to come for help and support and build friendship.
Why they need our service

This is a place which is comfortable, welcoming and safe. People with similar issues meet here for friendship and support. The venue is central and within the community so people can access with ease.

Plan and expected results

Become more independent and less reliant on other services and medical reliance. To reduce social isolation and exclusions due to their mental health. Encourage participation in activities to improve their well-being.

1000 Mile Bicycle Ride

Andy Mason has personal experience of a family member suffering and fighting for support for mental health support. Unfortunately, this resulted in the loss of the family member due to neglect and lack of appropriate support. We aim to eliminate this and to tackle the issues head on and put into place a plan for recovery. Andy has been training for his 'Olympics'. His hard work and effort he hopes will help others and he does not want anyone else to go through what he has been through. read more
