Street Angels - CNI Network is an umbrella organisation supporting, resourcing and celebrating over one hundred local expressions of work within the night-time economy. Our local projects contribute to reduction in violent crime, anti-social behaviour and sexual assaults. With projects like Street Angels, Town Pastors, NightLight, Street Chaplains, Youth Angels, Club Angels and Love Your Streets we are supporting people and making the difference!
Why the community needs usStreet Angels - CNI Network has supported over 130 projects to make a difference in local communities on weekend evenings. We help towns move from binge to better with reduced crime, sexual assaults and anti-social behaviour. Love Your Streets encourages everyone to #Do1NiceThing every day. We also have an education pack for use with young people. We are a Big Society Award winning initiative showing how the national network and local projects are benefiting communities.
Our impact on the communityViolent crime reduced in many of the towns and cities we operate (recently 30% reduction on the nights Street Angels run in Northallerton). Move from binge culture to better. Volunteers equipped to invest in community at a time when needed. Volunteers helped into employment. Simple idea that is tried and tested.
Local projects run in over 120 towns and cities across the UK - see our web site for local details - www.cninetwork.org.uk
