Creative Learning provides drop in weekend sessions for 5 - 18 yrs in performing arts.
We are a cultural, not for profit community based organisation located in the borough of Hertsmere that creates and produces opportunities for disadvantaged / marginalised young people in creative learning, physical and health related activities to include performance opportunities utilising movement, voice, media, young leadership and community classes. We offer opportunities in dance for young people with a disability and young leadership projects in our local area of Hertsmere.
Why the community needs usCreative Learning directly benefits young people through creative sessions, and instils confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of achievement. Young people learn and practice new skills in leadership and team work. We provide a positive and encouraging environment.
Given the economic climate, dance and arts, especially targeted at disadvantaged groups, have become a low government priority. Our projects address isolation, and the racial and economic divide.
