Cruse Bereavement Care Norwich

Cruse Bereavement Care Norwich

Boardman House, Redwell Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 4SL

Offering one to one bereavement support and information to adults and children in Norfolk.

Has someone died? Talking to someone neutral, but experienced in the problems a bereavement can leave you with, can help. Norwich Cruse recruits and trains volunteers to support bereaved people whatever their age. We run a help and information line and can set up one to one sessions with one of our 53 bereavement support workers at our dedicated counselling room and other venues in Norfolk. If necessary,we make home visits. Specialised support is offered to children and parents.
Why the community needs this charity

People's lives can be devastated by the grief and turmoil a death can cause. It can destroy a family. Cruse volunteers work one to one with people, young and old, aiming to enable them to face the future and rebuild their lives. They may be having great difficulty coping with family or work responsibilities. We help give them strategies to cope whilst allowing them to express and understand their grief. Last year 1371 one to one sessions were given by our volunteers 528 new Helpline enquiries
