DENS is a safe place for homeless people aged 18+ to 'catch their breath' and get back on track

DENS is a homelessness charity, its main aim to relieve poverty and distress of those living in Dacorum. With 3 key projects, the Day Centre, the Night Shelter and Move-on Accommodation, DENS supports homeless people to try and rebuild their lives.
Why the community needs this charity

We are all 3 steps away from becoming homeless. In Dacorum alone, there are up to 100 people homeless every night. Our 3 projects provide shelter, safety, food and support. We also provide life skills training and one to one resettlement support.

Results and outcomes

Over the last year, DENS has supported over 300 people across the 3 projects; a number of these people have been helped to find their own accommodation and are now living independently.
