Women from all over Greater Manchester benefit from the project, in particular: - - Women from African background and their families. - Asian women (through our partnerships with Rochdale Women Welfare Association). - Women from other various partner organisations (Local Community Centres, Voluntary Organisations, Churches etc). - Women who are new to the UK (Refugees, Immigrant and Asylum Seekers). - Single mothers, young women and housewives. Women improved their confidence quickly .
We successfully run different activities such as: Cultural day, sunny and spicy cuisine etc, this Positively engage women in skills based activities to reduce isolation and improve their chances of employability. Engage the most socially isolated women and increase their confidence, self esteem and invollvement in the local community through the establishment of a support network. . Create awareness to a variety of healthy African cuisine and improve the health and well being of individuals.
