We have been successfully providind a support network to promote the wellbeing of all women in Gr.M

Our organisation aims to bring together African women in Greater Manchester to foster their well-being and to promote african culture and african healthy food. In order to do this, the objectives of our organisation are the following: 1. To advance the well-being of African women who live, work or study in Greater Manchester by promoting African cultural activities and projects, and by assisting in the relief of hardship of African women and their families by making charitable donations. 2. To further such charitable purpose as the committee in its absolute discretion shall think fit, including through the making of grants and donations. 3. To raise awareness of the pligth of African women in the wider community and abroad.

Why the community needs this charity

Women from all over Greater Manchester benefit from the project, in particular: - - Women from African background and their families. - Asian women (through our partnerships with Rochdale Women Welfare Association). - Women from other various partner organisations (Local Community Centres, Voluntary Organisations, Churches etc). - Women who are new to the UK (Refugees, Immigrant and Asylum Seekers). - Single mothers, young women and housewives. Women improved their confidence quickly .

Results and outcomes

We successfully run different activities such as: Cultural day, sunny and spicy cuisine etc, this Positively engage women in skills based activities to reduce isolation and improve their chances of employability. Engage the most socially isolated women and increase their confidence, self esteem and invollvement in the local community through the establishment of a support network. . Create awareness to a variety of healthy African cuisine and improve the health and well being of individuals.
