Many first generation Eritreans in London cannot communicate effectively in English and lack access to relevant information, preventing them from accessing services such as employment, housing, immigration and health. Furthermore when parents do not speak English and the children do not speak their mother tongue language this can lead to cultural and community alienation and disintegration. EDCN works to address these issues in cooperation with other relevant organisations in resolving these.
