Eden Park opened in 2005 in response to the high teenage pregnancy rate in the local area. We offer 12 one-bedroom flats and one two-bedroom flat which provide a safe and secure modern home, with indoor and outdoor play areas for children. We also work closely with other local services such as children centres, connexions, CAB, welfare rights, the local council to provide up to date and relevant sessions for our clients.
To date Eden Park has supported approximately 150 families to go on to sustain tenancies with the local council. When at Eden Park we support clients to become independent, work out budgeting plans, with cookery and healthy eating skills, gain confidence through attending groups and address any other issues which they may have.
We would like to be able to give each client a move on pack when they move out of Eden Park, the pack would include essentials such as: toilet roll, cleaning products, cloths/sponges, tea bags, sugar, coffee, tea towels, lightbulbs, batteries, which all come in handy when you are moving into a new property. On a larger scale the packs could include: bath towels, cooking pots, cutlery, crockery, kettle, toaster, bedding. read more
