Easter Holidays Escape@the Birthday Shop Stratford
Escape's core work is integrated, enabling people from different backgrounds to work together & support one another. Specialised programmes engage particular groups of people & communities to in safe and supportive environments with experienced staff & artists to assist them to engage in the wider community. People benefit from feeling less isolated, developing new skills, increase their confidence, share and celebrate their achievements through showcases, exhibitions and festivals.
Participants tell us that taking part in Escapes' projects have helped them to develop new skills and interests, increase their confidence in their ability, make new friendship. For some of the most vulnerable people the project supports they tell us Escape has helped them to re-engage and move forward in their lives, taking part in the wider community though volunteering, training, education and gaining employment.
