Twin Lakes Trip
We have provide the following: Information, advocacy and advice to parents/ carers of children and young people with disabilities and additional needs. We signpost families to specific people and or organisations who can provide individual direct support. We provide families with the opportunity to take part in day trips and activity days. We help parents/ carers to engage with commissioners and service providers to ensure the services their children access are really needs based led.
To ensure that the lives of the children and young people is a safe and happy one, and that their future is a brighter one with all our voices together ensuring what is needed for them transpires and in doing so leaving a legacy for generations to come. We also aim to bring parents and carers together to have a strong voice ensuring the future for our children and young people is a good one. To raise awareness of unmet needs and ensure parents and carers have the opportunity to raise issues

Parents/ Carers are producing a calendar - they are daring to bare and willing to pose for a variety of reasons. They all have children with disabilities/ additional needs and want to raise funds for and awareness of all that Family Voice Peterborough does. The calendar is being produced by Europress Print. Spencers Salon and PRC are doing all the hair and make-up for the photo shoot as in-kind support. Peterborough Greyhounds are hosting the launch event. Warwick Davis is kindly endorsing it. read more
