Put fun back into learning. Give yourself a Headstart! Gain skills, boost confidence,up self esteem

Our mission is to provide activities which benefit the community and in particular (but without limitation) to provide work related learning through vocational courses for any age. We offer opportunities for learners to develop their social skills, build self esteem and work in 1:1 or small groups. Learners can choose to work with farm animals, groom our horses, feed the pigs, train our dogs, look after the rabbits. Take an Art or Media course. The main purpose is putting fun back into learning.
Why the community needs this charity

H2W is aimed at children and young people who are at risk of being marginalised by society, from disadvantaged backgrounds, those at risk of becoming NEET or who are NEET, at risk of being excluded from school and poor attenders. Our particular expertise is working with vulnerable students who have complex needs, moderate learning difficulties, autism, dyslexia, and /or emotional behavioural and social difficulties. We intend to support these learners back into work, school or college.

Results and outcomes

H2W have had a positive inpact on many young peoples lives. Young people who were refusing to attend school have followed courses with us for one or two days per week and schools have noted that their attendance and behaviour has started to improve and eventually by the end of their time with us, have been able to reintegrate successfully back into school. Students with school phobia have success fully completed a course with us and continued on to college and work successfully.
