Home-Start Bristol is a charity that supports struggling families with at least 1 child under 5.
The aim of Home-Start is to provide support to families with young children who are experiencing difficulties and struggling to cope. Volunteers support families in their homes each week for 2-3 hours, which gives them the opportunity to develop positive & productive relationships with the parents/carers & the children. Volunteers are parents themselves, or have parenting experience, which means they are able to 'walk alongside' families from a place of potential understanding.
