Providing practical support to Somali and other East African communities in East London.

The overall aim of Hornafrik Integration Projects is to improve the quality of life of all Somali and other East African communities in the East End Borough of Tower Hamlets and surounding areas, by providing support and information for disadvantaged memebers of community.

Why the community needs us
Community users are well informed and enhance their confidence and integration. Children who attend our educational classes improve their educational attainments. Youth are diverted from anti-social behaviour and crime.

Our impact on the community
Enhanced confidence among Refugees and Asylum seekers, less anti social behaviour and crime, more integration among communities of different ethnic and/or faith.

Volunteers needed

A lot of our activities are carried out voluntarily, we therefore always welcome volunteers helping us. We particularly welcome fundraisers, tutors and administrators in our office.
