Bringing inclusive arts to life in Milton Keynes.
Inter-Action is an arts development organisation bringing participatory arts to life in Milton Keynes. Inter-Action MK facilitates creative, personal and community development through participation in cultural and community based activities. We focus activities on those people who have least access to the arts and we actively promote their involvement. Our current programme focusses on disability arts, inclusive performing arts, youth arts and celebratory arts.
Why the community needs usTaking part in arts activities is enjoyable. It can also help to develop skills and build confidence. Some people who live in challenging circumstances are not able to acccess mainstream arts activities. Inter-Action MK specialises in providing arts activities that everyone can enjoy.
Our impact on the communityOver 2000 people participate in Inter-Action MK activities each year. Each year we run in the region of 500 workshops.
