New changing rooms and toilets
We urgently need to replace our ageing changing rooms and toilets, to provide acceptable basic facilities, particularly for our ladies and for visiting teams. We have been fundraising for this for the past 5 years and have managed to raise half of the funds needed.
Why they need our service
Founded in 1921, the bowls club provides a social function to our small village, whilst allowing people to enjoy a sporting activity which helps keep us fit and healthy. The club really is a lifeline to some of our more elderly members.
Plan and expected results
Being able to provide acceptable changing and toilet facilities will allow the club to attract new members and help us maintain a healthy club membership. We can then look forward with confidence to our centenary year in 2021.
