Keiss Family Community Project is creating a Community Park and fitness area for all the community

A community project which aims to bring together the generations of the village by turning a run down waste area into a community park with play and sports facilities. As well as upgrading an existing swing park aimed at the younger children.
Why the community needs this charity

Our project supports the community by involving all generations, our aim is to provide a better environment for social activities in a deprived area where all generations of a family and extended family can play and have fun. The project will enhance village life as a community as well as supporting wildlife and bio diversity in the park area. The area will be able to be used by anyone in the surrounding area free of charge. It will make the community a more vibrant fun place to live.

Results and outcomes

The project aim to have the community park with new equipment later this year which will enable all children from 0 - 16 have a safe, vibrant area to play, encouraging them outside and for the older ones give them something to do. It will also encourage the older community to mix with the youner generation with a garden and picnic area and fitness equipment. The multi use games area will provide a great all weather area for the primary school, football team and general community use.
