We are lovely and very welcoming, nurturing the development creativity both photographically and socially.
Some of our members have experienced mental distress and we are proud to have them as valuable members. We all learn from each other sharing skills and life experience.
We are supported and mentored by Corby Community Arts with all their knowledge and experience.
Our impact on the communityProducing an annual Corby photographic diary for the last 6 years with accompanying exhibitions, other exhibitions dotting around the year positives that people feel by taking part and having their work recognised, raised self esteem and a sense of belonging to a main stream group for some members with mental health difficulties wellbeing
We would welcome people with fundraising experience . When we put on exhibitions people to help with hospitality; welcoming introducing would be very helpful.
New photographers are always welcome, and people with an interest in community development are always an asset.
As Corby is growing very fast we are keen to welcome people from the new communities.
This is an area that we are very keen to develop as our main area of interest is our town and it's development, both physically and socially.
