Why the community needs usLCC runs junior teams at under 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 age groups as well as three senior men's teams and a women's team. Each year well over 100 people play regularly throughout the summer on top standard pitches.
Over 100 non playing members and many visitors enjoy supporting the teams and more thab 50 active volunteers contribute to the success of the club.
The annual Gala in July attracts over 2,000 people to the ground and creates a great sense of community for the village.
Our impact on the communityTeams played over 150 matches in 2011.
There were over 50 junior coaching sessions both indoor and outdoor during the year.
Enjoy cricket week was attended by approaching 100 young people every day.
In 2011 the first team won their league, the third team one the cup and the u17s won the double!!
We're always happy to hear from anybody who wants to help out either on a regular or project basis.
