HELP A WRITER DEVELOP THEIR CRAFT
Over 9 days in March the 2012 writing festival Fuses will present 28 new short plays (and works in progress) to theatre audiences. We would like to select one of the most promising pieces and work with the writer to further develop the script. We need your help to make this possible? Any donations made during March will be used to create a development bursary to enable the chosen writer to spend time working with the literary department. Please help us reach our target of £2,500
Why the community needs this charity
Live Theatre is committed to helping writers to produce stage plays that are dynamic, compelling and ultimately theatrical. We offer support and advice to writers of all abilities, from first-time writers to successful playwrights, and run a series of events, courses and workshops for all aspiring writers.
Results and outcomes
PLEASE MAKE A DONATION TODAY. As an added incentive from 1st March Local Giving have pledged to match all donations made to this site £ for £. This offer will not last long so please donate today. YOU DONATE £5, PLUS GIFT AID = £6.25, PLUS LOCAL GIVING TOP UP = £11.25. YOU DONATE £10, PLUS GIFT AID = £12.50, PLUS LOCAL GIVING TOP UP = £22.50 Any donations received will be used to fund the chosen writer to work with Live Theatre's literary department and develop their play.
