working for the people of Louth through Renew and New Start VHSA, LCAS, Young Americans and others
We work in a wide area trying to help the people of Louth and its surround. We have a number of different enterprises: Renew & New Start which is a furniture re-use project collecting and selling good quality furniture for those who need it. VHSA supports people to buy furniture from us who cannot afford it themselves. We work with LCAS to provide for needs of others in difficult times in Lincolnshire. We run Young Americans for local schools and raise support for others in need in our community
Why the community needs usLast year we helped nearly 3000 people furnish their home at a price they could afford. We keep thousands of tonnes of furniture from landfill, we provide help for others who simply can't buy their own furniture with our work at Renew or soft furnishings through the work of New Start. We work hard with LCAS to ensure people in need are also helped and we give around 200 children a great time of dance and entertainment at the Young Americans training from among all the schools in the Louth area.
