The Men's Network exists to help all men and boys live long, happy, safe, successful lives and contribute fully to the families and communities where they live. When boys do better at school, when dads are involved in their children's lives, when teenage boys have male role models, when men's health is improved, when we protect men and boys from crime and anti-social behaviour then everyone benefits. The aim of our work is to create a city that works for everyone, men and boys included.
We have been running for two years now and in that time we have: * Inspired more than 100 men to volunteer * Run support groups and activities for more than 200 dads and kids * Helped a testicular cancer survivor set up a cancer awareness project in schools * Provided mentoring and support to young men who's lives have gone off track * Helped teenage boys to take action to improve their estate * Worked with men who are young, old, straight, gay, disabled and from different ethnic groups
The Men's Network is run almost exclusively by volunteers and we are always happy to hear from men and women who would like to make a difference for men and boys in Brighton & Hove.
