A weekley youth Club for young people with disabilities and their siblings age 11- 25.

To provide a weekley club for young people with disabilities where they can meet to plan and participate activities, preventing social exclusion for the target group.
Why the community needs this charity

Our community lacks provision for young people with disabilities, so we provide a safe environment for the young people to meet, plan and participate in their activities. They plan indoor activities for example arts crafts, baking, playing pool, singing, dancing, console games. They also plan activities in the community for example using sporting and leisure facilities, tennis, swimming, climbing, canoeing, bowling, they also enjoy going to the cinema, shows and meals.

Results and outcomes

Our club promotes inclusion within our community, the young people particpate in challenging activities with their friends, that builds their self esteem, confidence, promoting their wellbieng. The young people have difficulties completing activities because of their disabilities but we always find away to breakdown barriers so they can fulfil their ambitions.
