Supporting local families and individuals in and around Haverhill

REACH is an acronym meaning Restore, Encourage, Action, Community & Hope. We run a number of projects aimed at relieving poverty and promoting family well-being for anyone who may be struggling with financial issues, unexpected crises along with general advice and support.
Why the community needs this charity

Sadly people face all manner of issues through life often leaving them feeling isolated, socially excluded and hopeless. This can be as a result of financial difficulties, relationship breakdown, ill health, job loss etc. We support local families and individuals with free debt advice and budgeting, emergency food through the foodbank, essential items of furniture, general support and a listening ear at our REACH Resource Centre drop-in - open 5 days a week.

Results and outcomes

Our help restores dignity and revives hope in the families and individuals we see by supporting them and lifting the burden of debt. We actively promote and improve family well-being through our food and furniture projects. We also offer volunteering opportunities, reducing isolation as well as encouraging higher aspirations and increasing employability.

Volunteers Required

We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in the Foodbank (packing, weighing and sorting the food) and the Furniture Bank, in particular drivers.
