Replacement of scooters

We require assistance in providing our Free hire service of scooters, wheelchairs and powerchairs.
Why they need our service

We provide a vital service to many who have a mobility impairment, allowing them to become socially included and independent. Many clients cannot afford to purchase scooters or have them transported to town each visit, so we make it financially and logistically possible. We also help vistors enjoy Lochaber by providing scooters and wheelchairs while they are on holiday in the area.

Plan and expected results

We are continually fundraising and applying for funding. We have regular committee meetings and the client usage/new client numbers are presented to each meeting.

Final Results

We were successful in receiving £5000 from Peoples Postcode Trust towards our current projects. We also received £500 from the BINKS trust and £1,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation.
