The Lord Mayor's Fund gives grants to community projects in Coventry which are run by small grassroots groups. The volunteers behind these groups make Coventry a better place to live and the Lord Mayor is proud to support them. Recently grants have been made to 2-Tone Central, Get Together and Speakability.
Why the community needs usSmall community groups have a huge impact in our city's quality of life. They make great use of donations because they are largely run by volunteers. Because of their relatively low profile, they can struggle for funding but by giving to the Lord Mayor's fund, Coventry's companies & benefactors can reach them. As the Fund grows & make more grants to Coventry's projects, information will appear on this site. Come back regularly and see how your donation is helping worthwhile causes.
Our impact on the communityEvery donation will help make our city's neighbourhoods better places to live and work. The Heart of England Community Foundation will choose groups for funding based on their size, the impact made by their work, and their focus on Coventry's greatest needs. The Foundation will receive 10% as a charitable donation to offset management costs. For more information on funded projects, please see the latest activities & projects section.
