The WAY Project provides a wide variety of activities for young people living locally, offering evening youth clubs on 3 nights each week, 2 afternoon support sessions, and regular pastoral work with those families facing severe difficulties
Over 250 young people attend projects each year. 60 supported via afternoon sessions, securing employment and training opportunities. Low levels of anti-social behaviour committed by young people directly attributed to our work by police
The young people in our local community are at the heart of what we do. Many lives have been transformed with the support provided by the WAY Project and its committed staff. We provide a place to 'escape' from the pressures of school and home. The youth club offers a warm, safe environment where young people are free to chill out with their friends, play games or join in with planned activities. There is always an opportunity to talk to a youth worker read more
