Time Spanners
We entertain the public whilst promoting positive images of people with disability by putting them at the heart of community events. Our performances, DVD, and podcasts encourage diversity, tolerance, understanding and contribute to a fairer society.
Through participating in our events our members move from the margins of society and place themselves at the center of a wide range of public events and celebrations. Participant feedback shows that Time Spanner Projects enables them to experience a wide range of activities not normally available to people with disabilities, e.g. public performance, film making. It also enables them to address issues which are important to them within press, broadcasting and modern media such as You Tube.
Time Spanner (Projects) was set up in December 2000, this year we celebrate our 10th Birthday and to celebrate this we will be releasing our first DVD 10 years of Time Spanning and performing in Newbury Library at our Birthday celebration concert. We are also pleased to announce that Time Spanner Projects has been nominated for The Queen's Award for Voluntary Services (June 2011) read more
