Our local community has an ageing population and we stage a number of concerts for old people. We do recognise however that young people are important and we have started a Leo's club for young people and provide a day out for children from a local school. We have also helped a number of disabled people by providing funds for specialised equipment.
A special bed provided for young person with cerebral palsy. OAP concerts have been staged. Hospital packs are delivered to local hospitals. The Peace Poster competition successfully completed. Leo's club still running.
This activity is run in the form of a competition on a local (and ultimately worldwide) basis to encourage young people to think about Peace by painting a Poster with a theme about Peace. We award a small prize for winners locally but the ultimate possible prize is a trip to New York to visit the United Nations Headquarters. read more

We are always looking out for more volunteers. The only qualifications we require are a sense of fun and a desire to help other people. In return, if you join us, you will gain the friendship of like minded people and have an enjoyable time. Please contact us if you are interested.
