Supporting rural communities in the Durham Dales
Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Services Ltd (UTASS) is a community led organisation which provides support services for farmers, their families and the wider community of Teesdale, combating stress, isolation and economic deprivation. We aim to prevent problems from getting to the desperate stage.
Latest activities and projects
UTASS Endowment
We are fundraising to build an endowment which will help to secure the long term future of UTASS. Our endowement appeal is supported by HRH The Prince of Wales, who describes UTASS as "a remarkably special and vital organisation" that plays "a crucial role ... in the local community". read more
Young People's Drop In
We provide drop in activities for young people aged 8 to 18 three evenings each week as well as activities during school holidays. We work with local young people to support their personal, social and educational development and enable them to gain a voice, influence and confidence as they grow into young adults. read more
Volunteers Required
We are always keen to work with new volunteers and are particularly looking for volunteers to help with our youth drop in activities in the evening.
