Sport, Social, Drama, Learning & Community. Activities affordable for all in our rural village

We are a well used community hall in a rural village. We aim to provide sporting & leisure activities for all sections of our community, at a cost they can afford. with over 30 regular groups, plus other occasional groups, plus weddings, parties large & small, we can offer something for everyone. We have just funded & completed an extension to the hall, which includes an upstairs computer suite. We keep costs down with our wind turbine, PV panels & ground source heat pump.
Why the community needs this charity

By providing a hub for a wide range of events, we cater for our rural community. Events are organised by trustees themselves, or by the many groups who use the hall. New activities are actively encouraged and supported as necessary. A thriving social club provides a relaxing environment. Regular newsletters are distributed, free of charge.

Results and outcomes

The fact that we had to build an extension is proof that we are well used, and satisfying our local demand. We can have 6 different activities going on at any time. It all helps keep our community active and involved.

Volunteers Required

We are a very busy hall, and there is always a need for volunteers. Everything from cake making to cleaning, grounds maintenance to general repairs. Just express an interest, and we will get you involved!
