Young & Inspired mission is to ensure children are afforded the opportunity to succeed academically, physically and socially. We provide a range of free clubs such as a swimming club - Swimfit - a breakfast club and bi-annual sleepaways. Our organisation makes heavy use of volunteers - Thanks to you all! - which reduces our cost so that we can use our funds to improve and expand our currents services.
Why the community needs usThe children accessing our services are provided the opportunity to gain vital skills for life, enhance their education and improve their overall quality of life. Many of these children later return as volunteers and assist other disadvantaged children.
Our impact on the communityOf our 130 participants of our Swimfit program, 50 are swimming unaided in deep water. 200 of our Passion Fruit Project participants gained self-confidence, new skills and made many new friends. 100 children are gaining tremendously from our free breakfast club and are able to succeed in school due to the nutritious filling breakfast they enjoyed.
