Milton Keynes Community Foundation

MK Community Foundation is your leading grant-making charity (Reg No. 295107) working for and at the heart of Milton Keynes. We are proud to have delivered vital support to our community for the last 25 years.

We give grants and provide property subsidies to our local voluntary sector, supporting vital projects including: night shelter improvements for the homeless, emergency food parcels for people in crisis, support for children with disabilities and their families, social clubs for older people, music and drama activities to nurture local talent, new skills and training for local teenagers, or equipment for sports clubs. We believe a diverse, vibrant and well supported community sector is the key to a thriving local community.

We achieve this by inspiring community philanthropy - connecting local donors to local causes and also by drawing down government funds for distribution in our communities.

We are quality accredited by the Community Foundation Network and governed by an active board of trustees who know our community well. Our grant-making programme is supported by a committee of experienced and impartial community representatives who help ensure funding requests are legitimate, carefully assessed and awarded to address local needs.

Whether it’s offering resources to support the vital work of our local voluntary sector or providing solutions for donors who want to give back to this community, our focus is about enriching lives and making Milton Keynes even better, both today and for the future.
