We formed in response to a need identified by MPower, a mental health service user forum group. Our consultation further demonstrated a clear need for voluntary sector mental wellbeing services and for greater choice in Calderdale
We recently started the Information Service (Nov '09) and are monitoring the numbers of people who use the service and recording their broad area of information need. We hope people will be better able and supported to make informed choices
We provide information sessions in a range of venues in Calderdale, aimed at promoting mental wellbeing and reducing the stigma attached to mental distress. We provide information related to a broad range of local services and recognise the wide range of factors which contribute to recovery and mental wellbeing. read more
