Children's charities

A child is the most vulnerable person in society and, as such, the most liable to abuse. Physical, emotional and sexual abuse are most common, but a child exposed to violence, poverty or ignorance is equally likely to need help. Children’s charities are there to catch the most vulnerable when they fall, and to prevent them from falling at all.

Gift Aid it!

Giving through local Community Foundations means that Gift Aid can be claimed automatically, adding 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you - even for donations to the smallest charities and community groups. Gift Aid can be claimed by individual UK tax payers. Higher rate tax payers may be able to claim an additional 22%.
