Providing food when the cupboard is bare.

The collection and distribution of short term emergency food supplies by volunteers from churches across the communities of Kidlington, Woodstock, Charlbury and Chipping Norton.
Why the community needs this charity

Our aim is to provide food parcels to any individual or family within the Kidlington, Woodstock, Chipping Norton and Charlbury area who has urgent need of food, without the money to buy it, whether because of illness, social security benefit changes, or whatever. Such people will be referred to us by local agencies, charities, churches, CAB etc and we will supply food during the time it takes for other social care infrastructure to come into play.

Results and outcomes

We are able to supply immediate emergency help to those desperate for basic food, giving them time to get other social support in place. As well as being a practical step, the care this shows provides emotional relief and comfort to all who come to us.
