A grant making fund supporting a range of local charitable projects within the Cambridgeshire area.

The Remtec Grassroots Community Fund makes small grants to voluntary and community groups that are working on charitable projects in Cambridgeshire. The Fund is particularly keen to support projects that enable people to unlock their potential.
Why the community needs this charity

This charitable fund provides an additional source of financial help for local voluntary and community groups who are working directly with beneficiaries and improving their quality of life.

Results and outcomes

The team at Remtec Search and Selection had a succesful first year of fund raising and our efforts along with the government matched funding currently stands at £5600. Their first grant was made in November 2010 to The Cottenham Music Therapy Project. The project helps students with behavioural, social and emotional difficulties and used the grant to upgrade their musical instruments.

Latest activities and projects

Sponsor the team for their 2011 fundraising Fun Run

On Sunday 15th May 2011 the Remtec running team will join over 1,100 entrants for an event which brings people together each year to raise funds exclusively for local charities and organisations.
