Hip Hop is the central part of a creative culture which encourages people to use the arts as part of their learning and development. SIN Cru stimulates people to enjoy the positivity of dance, visual arts and music.
SIN Cru works with young people to show them the benefits that creativity can bring to their lives. Participants are encouraged to improve their expressive abilities, co-ordination, communication skills, team-working, confidence and health.
A 6 week long creative project with children and young people, to develop the arts provision in the city surrounding Coleridge. It will be a brand new project to be based at Coleridge, exploring dance and digital media, with an end performance/exhibition. The project aims to work with 5 defined groups of children and young people, encouraging and facilitating cross overs between them to increase teamwork and leadership skills. read more
The Sinstitute of Hip Hop Arts (SoHHA) will take place at The Junction, Cambridge in April 2012. The first four days will be a Masterclass for higher level break dancers. It will be followed by five days of activities in Break Dancing, Graffiti, MCing, DJing etc for all levels and will include a strand for pre-school children which will be an introduction to movement and dance. Urban SINfonie, at the end of the week is a showcase participants from both parts of SoHHA. read more
