Supporting voluntary groups within St Albans District with small, regular annual grants

To provide consistent support to voluntary groups who help people within St Albans, Harpenden, Wheathampstead, Redbourn and London Colney, by making small but regular annual grants without strings attached
Why the community needs this charity

Many organisations are diverted from their core activity of helping clients or members by the struggle to cover basic operating costs. Our grants underpin the work without specifying how the money has to be used

Results and outcomes

21 organisations have received grants of between £300 and £500 a year for a five year period. They express strong support for the confidence and freedom that such grants give them. Grants help to lever in other funds by proving community support
