Dance and Disability - Scotland
The community needs Indepen-dance as it is the only Scottish based Dance Company offering the full range of these unique opportunities and believes that people with disabilities have the right to access a quality arts provision.
Indepen-dance has changed the lives of many of our participants over the years building individuals self confidence, self esteem, as well as health related fitness. As well as offering the opportunity to share in a creative experience.
Indepen-dance was founded in 1996, as an integrated dance company which provides creative movement/dance classes, training and performance opportunities for people with learning disabilities, their carers and volunteers. read more
