Our vision is to produce, promote and support local food in an environmentally,socially and economically sustainable way. The objectives of the Farm are:To produce and sell local food for local people. To provide community access to the land and its produce. To provide opportunities for the local community to come together and learn about growing food, sustainable agriculture and living. To provide a space for events, workshops, training, social time and celebration.
Why the community needs usThe Community has secured the land on which we grow in order to provide access to wholesome, healthy food to our local community.Currently, we are able to use the assets of the farm to work with and benefit various organisations, agencies, schools and colleges in the area,
Our impact on the communityWe sustainably grow and deliver fresh, seasonal vegetables, fruit, eggs and honey, Organic bread, Cornish cheese and free-range local milk to the local community through our Veg Box Scheme, our farm shop, local farmers markets and to local businesses and schools. The farm is utilized by several hundred people each year- ranging from school and team building business groups to campers, to attendees of our events, courses and workshops.
