A volunteer-led Community Resource & Recycling Charity empowering disadvantaged groups & individuals
Bridport TLC is a community resource & recycling project which is developing sustainable waste & recycling initiatives alongside local schools & businesses and the wider Bridport population. We are a volunteer-led group, offering solutions to improving our local environment & contributing to a sustainable local economy. We do this through our diverse team of volunteers - actively supporting & encouraging many who are isolated or recovering from mental health, addiction or other societys' ills.
Why the community needs usWe collectively keep over 300 tonnes of waste out of landfill a year by collecting, sorting and finding re-use or recycling options for a wide variety of local waste materials. This is the vehicle for providing a supportive work environment for our volunteers which are often referred from health, council and third sector agencies.
