Care Cultural Integration combats antisocial behaviour among young people.
To provide opportunities for children and young people mainly from BME communities to make a positive contribution to their communities and encourages them to live healthier lifestyles and intergrate in the communities where they live.
Why the community needs usCCI seeks to integrate young people of various cultural backgrounds through a variety of activities and is open to all children and young people and they assist young people to develop social and occupational skills to enable them to obtain employment. We encourage young people through sport and other activities to build their community. CCI offers real alternatives to antisocial behaviour and crime rampant among youngsters in the community.
Our impact on the communityWe run HOMEWORK CLUB for children age 10-16 to help them with their school and academic work. We have about 25 children attending our club on general basis. Our SPORTS CLUB runs 5-aside football in the local community and this has helped young people as they exercise their skills. The club is currently going on.
In past year we have also organized COOKING SESSIONS based in the community for young people. Assisted by volunteers from our community.
Care Cultural Intergration main activities health and well being, sports activities and weekend youth club. We also assist in Education and Training, music instruments -play such as piano, guitars, drums. Volunteers with experience in these areas would do greatly.
