Hereward is a FE College based in Coventry, with specialist facilities for students aged 16+ who have complex disabilities and learning needs. Students can follow programmes designed to maximise the possibilities for them to live and work independently in the future. Why the community needs usHereward offers inclusive provision with specialist facilities for learners with a wide range of learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities. Its key objective is to enable learners to achieve academic and vocational qualifications, and to develop the necessary independence skills to support a successful transition to adulthood and, where possible, employment. Hereward delivers a vast range of opportunities from independence training to social skills, putting the young person first.
Our impact on the communityHereward achieves an amazing amount for those with disabilities - from learning to live independently to gaining qualifications and moving into work. Hereward is registered as a Care Provider with the CQC - Care Quality Commission, and is inspected by Ofsted with a "good" rating with some outstanding elements.
