We provide 1-2-1 and group support sessions for those with ADHD, their families and support networks. We aim to provide advocacy and coping strategies between ADHD sufferers, school and employers to improve understanding and support of the ADHD condition. Support is to be given all age groups and ethnics origins, and will include those waiting for diagnosis as well as those already diagnosed.
Why the community needs usADHD is a community within a community and though those with ADHD may sometimes get on with their lives well, there are times where support, information and guidance is needed. But this also goes for those involved within the persons life. Family's, partners and supporting agencies/networks also need somewhere they can go to get more information.
Our impact on the communityTo improve the amount, quantity and quality of support given to the ADHD community within Trafford and Greater Manchester. To educate and help other understand about ADHD and how it affects an individual.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to help and support those with ADHD. This could be anything from helping with Paperwork and the day to day running of the organisation to helping on fund raising events on our stalls.
