The National Rape Crisis Helpline is accessible 365 days a year to women who have survived rape and sexual abuse, offering specialised, confidential support, information and referral details.
Why the community needs usAccording to the British Crime Survey 40% of adults who are raped tell no one about it. 31% of children who are abused reach adulthood without having disclosed their abuse.
As a first step many survivors find it easier to talk anonymously and confidentially. The Helpline aims to provide a supportive, non-judgemental, safe space for survivors to begin talking about their experiences.
