We support and inspire people affected by sexual abuse to live a future with hope and confidence.

RSVP enables adults and children of all genders to develop increased confidence and self esteem, so they can make positive meaningful changes after sexual abuse. We offer services which are compassionate, professional and confidential. Our services include counselling, social groups, advocacy, telephone helpline, self help and specialist support for asylum seekers and refugees, the LGBT community and sex workers.

Why the community needs us
RSVP is the main specialist charity in Birmingham and Solihull supporting children and adults of any gender affected by sexual violence, abuse and exploitation. Counselling is just one of our many services and we have a team of 40 counsellors who deliver counselling 7 days a week. But we need to increase our capacity, so we can give counselling to everyone on our waiting list when they request our support, not weeks and months after. Every donation will help us reach people more quickly.

Our impact on the community
Last year we supported over 7000 survivors of sexual violence and abuse through our free, confidential and holistic services, to achieve positive outcomes, increase their wellbeing and feel more positive and hopeful about their future.

Volunteers needed

Yes- we need part time volunteers in: helpline and counselling services; community fundraising; advocate admin support; policy development and various other roles.
